2025 Australian Pickleball Championships: Updated Guide

The countdown is officially on for the biggest event on the Australian pickleball calendar, kicking off on September 29 — the 2025 Trilogy Funds Australian Pickleball Championships (APC)! A few months ago, I shared a sneak peek at what was shaping up to be the biggest APC yet, and now I’m back to share all the new details that have been confirmed since.

With over 1,100 players already registered, hundreds of event categories suitable for players of all skills and ages, a festival-style entertainment hub and — for the first time in APC history — a juicy $30,000 prize pool, you’re going to want to be there (brownie points for bringing all of your family and friends along, too).

Registrations are only open until 31 August, so make sure to get in quick!

The APC will run from 29 September to 6 October 2025 at the Pimpama Sports Hub in northern Gold Coast. The Pimpama Sports Hub is just a 45-minute drive from Brisbane City, a 20-minute drive from the heart of the Gold Coast, and fully accessible by public transport, including bus lines that stop directly at the Sports Hub.

  • A pumping festival atmosphere, thanks to an entertainment hub with live music, food trucks, merchandise stalls, player lounges, media centres and more
