We're Tati and Joey 👋
Just a few years ago we could have never imagined we’d be traveling around Australia (and now the world) for pickleball, but life is a funny thing sometimes!
Joey is our resident pickleball player, turning what was once just our favourite hobby into a whole professional venture. He’s good at everything he does and somehow balances being a full-time engineer with slapping some balls on the court.
I’m Tatiana (aka Tati aka #globalwag), a communications & strategy consultant, Joey’s biggest fan and importantly not a competitive pickleballer. You’ll typically find me on the sidelines with plenty of snacks, water & sunscreen.
We see the world in very different ways which just adds to the fun!
What's Beyond the court?
My entire career (and life) has revolved around people — learning fascinating stories, exploring new cultures and giving voice to the lived experiences that often go unnoticed. And pickleball, at its core, is an incredible conduit for community connection and inclusivity.
Over the years of discovering pickleball in the US to now supporting Joey in his journey to the pro league in Australia, I’ve realised there’s so much more to the sport than what goes down between Friday and Sunday.
I wanted to create a dedicated space to share the world of pickleball in Australia. The people, places and events that happen… well, beyond the court.
